From the moment we brought Robbie, our little Cairn for a checkup with Dr. Pope it was a positive experience. His gentle manner was calming for all of us and he took the time to explain everything we needed to know.
For the past 10 years my husband and I have dealt with all the doctors, each one very helpful and genuinely concerned about our pets.
When we brought in a very old, homeless and starving cat in desperate need of care they all were there for us. Treatment for Miss Twiggy’s final 6 months made her as comfortable as possible and for that we are so grateful.
But, all in all it was the staff that made the visits to Bayshore Clinic a most pleasant one. Their sweet and caring demeanors from the moment we walked in to when we left were uniquely personable.
We have recommended the Clinic to all our friends and they have had good luck as well.

We've been going to Bayshore Animal Hospital since 2005. Bayshore Animal Hospital saved our 1st dog Maggie twice, once when she had a tumor on her spleen and another time when she had bloat. She had a heart murmur and unfortunately liver cancer. Her cancer doctor gave her 3 months, with the help of Dr. Pope, she lasted 22 months. During her last days, the whole staff showed sad emotions for my sweet Maggie. They comforted me in my loss and showed the same heartbreak that I was feeling. We now have another dog and 6 cats. All the doctors are very knowledgeable and the staff are all very nice and friendly. Bayshore Animal Hospital is the best in this area, We will not go anywhere else. Thank you to all the doctors and the whole staff for caring and loving my animals as much as we do.

We have been trusting Bayshore Animal Hospital with the care of our beloved fluffy crew since we moved here in 2012. After many years of working in the veterinary field in another state, I was very picky about which local vet clinic we would get established with. I was happy to find that Bayshore Vet was the only AAHA accredited Vet Hospital in the area, and also had a beautiful new state of the art facility. The staff has always been incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate as they’ve cared for our pets in both routine preventative care, various surgeries, scary emergencies, and end of life care. We are so grateful to have Bayshore Animal Hospital to care for our fluffy crew!

I would like to thank everyone at Bayshore animal hospital they put all there effort in doing everything possible to make our pets healthy and happy, Dr Pope and Dr K have worked with me with my Bo and Toby. We became part of the Bayshore Animal Hospital family when we moved to Astoria from Arizona in 2002.
Over the past 17 years, Dr. Pope and Dr. Kilponnen along with the entire staff have provided excellent, compassionate care to six great and crazy dogs and one beautiful sassy cat (and their two humans).
In this small coastal area, we are blessed to have a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital with highly skilled and caring veterinary and front office staff like Bayshore.

I have fostered many dogs for the Clatsop County Animal Shelter over the last few years. I get the sick and injured ones and take care of them until they're well enough to go back to find their forever homes. During the time they've been with me, they've been cared for by the staff at Bayshore Animal Hospital. I've watched everyone at Bayshore tend to these homeless, ownerless and helpless animals with tenderness and true concern for their well being. After watching them with these animals and seeing how much they care, I can't imagine taking any of my pets anywhere else. Dr. Pope took care of our beloved Mollydog during her lifetime and now Bayshore will be watching over our newest furry companion - Maggie (also a dog from the Animal Shelter but this one will be staying permanently)!!
